Welcome to the Youcast.cloud website, as well as any other websites, applications, or services that link to this Privacy Policy (hereinafter, "Youcast"). This Privacy Policy describes how we ("Youcast," "we," "our," or "us") collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use Youcast.

We value the privacy of our users, customers, and others who visit or use Youcast (collectively or individually, "you" or "users"). By using Youcast, you expressly consent to the information handling practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Youcast.cloud website.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Youcast’s collection and use of personal information (i.e., data that can identify you as an individual, such as your name or email) and non-personal information (technical data, aggregated analytics, etc.) that we gather when you access or use Youcast. It also explains how you can control the use and sharing of your personal information.

2. Information We Collect
2.1. Information You Provide Voluntarily

You may provide us with certain information when you:

  • Create an account (for example, your email address, display name, or other optional profile details).
  • Upload or stream content through our platform.
  • Contact us directly (e.g., by sending us an email or using the support form).
2.2. Information Collected Automatically

We do not directly collect or store information such as IP addresses or device identifiers on our own servers for tracking purposes. However, we use Google Analytics (a third-party analytics service) to understand how users interact with Youcast. Google Analytics may automatically receive and record:

  • Your IP address (potentially anonymized),
  • Browser type, operating system,
  • Referring/exit pages,
  • Date/time of visits, and
  • Other user interaction data

We access only aggregated statistical data from Google Analytics (e.g., number of page views, average session duration) and do not have direct access to your personal data. Please note that the collection and use of your data by Google Analytics is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. If you wish to opt out of Google Analytics tracking, you can disable cookies in your browser settings or use a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

2.3. Information from Third Parties

We may obtain personal data from:

  • Third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube) when you connect your streaming accounts to Youcast.
  • Social networks if you log in with Google or other providers. (For example, we may receive your username, email address, and profile info from your Google account.)
  • Analytics or other partners that help us understand overall user behavior.

3. Use of YouTube API & Other Integrations

We use YouTube API v3 to enable you to create and manage live streams on your connected YouTube channel(s). By connecting your Google/YouTube account to Youcast:

  • You grant us permission to store and use OAuth tokens to interact with YouTube on your behalf.
  • We may retrieve and store certain channel and streaming data (e.g., stream key, channel ID, titles) in order to facilitate continuous streaming functionality.
  • Google Limited Use Policy: We comply with Google’s requirements regarding the handling of data obtained via restricted scopes. We do not share your tokens or other sensitive data with unauthorized third parties.
  • If you wish to revoke Youcast’s access to your YouTube account, you can do so at any time in your Google Account settings or by contacting us at support@youcast.cloud.

4. How We Use Your Information

  3. Personalize your experience, such as remembering your preferences.
  4. Analyze usage trends and measure the effectiveness of Youcast.

  6. Respond to your inquiries, support requests, or feedback.

We do not use your email address or personal information to send commercial or marketing messages unless you have opted in or we have another lawful basis. However, we may send you non-promotional or administrative communications (e.g., important updates about Youcast).

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (pixel tags, web beacons) to collect non-personally identifying information. This helps us:

  • Understand and save your preferences for future visits.
  • Compile aggregate data about site traffic to improve Youcast.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you do so, some parts of Youcast may not function properly.

  • Comply with legal obligations;
  • Protect and defend our rights or property;
