The Four Requirements
Twitch's help page says a streamer must meet four requirements to become an Affiliate, and all four must be fully completed to receive an invitation:

You also have to enable Two-Factor Authentication on your account to begin onboarding. Twitch says this is required for all Affiliates and Partners.
- Reach 25 followers.
- Stream for 4 hours.
- Stream on 4 different days.
- Reach an average of 3 viewers, counted on 4 different days.
The 30-Day Window and the Viewer Rule
All four requirements must be met within the same 30-day period, and the Achievements section of the Creator Dashboard shows progress for the last 30 days only. The dashboard's main stats show all-time numbers, which is why the figures can look different.
The "average of 3 viewers" means an average of 3 concurrent viewers watching at the same time, not 3 views in total. Twitch gives an example: if you stream 10 days and 4 of them average 3 or more concurrent viewers, you meet the requirement, and the other 6 days do not count against you.
After You Qualify
Twitch says the invitation comes by email and notification, typically 24 to 48 hours after the channel becomes eligible and sometimes up to 72 hours. If it takes longer than that, it suggests checking your email, the 30-day window and your notifications, then contacting support.
Streamers aged 13 to 17 may join with parental or guardian consent and supervision.

What Affiliates Unlock
- Subscriptions from viewers.
- Bits, with revenue earned when viewers cheer.
- A share of ad revenue.
- Channel Points for custom rewards.
- Extended VOD storage: broadcasts kept for 14 days instead of 7.
Where YouCast Fits in a Revenue Plan
YouCast turns the videos you upload into a 24/7 live stream that runs from the cloud, to YouTube and, with a stream key, to Twitch, Kick and Instagram, so there is no encoder to configure, no computer to keep awake and no home upload line to saturate.
YouCast can run a pre-recorded stream on Twitch with your Twitch stream key, so the hours and viewers the Affiliate requirements ask for can build while you are away. You still need the 25 followers and the average of 3 viewers, and they come from content and community.
You can try one stream on the free trial and add more streams as the channel grows.
