How to cancel your YouCast subscription and our refund policy.

You can cancel your YouCast subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees, long-term contracts, or penalties. This page explains how cancellation works and what to expect regarding refunds.

How to Cancel

Go to Settings → Subscription

Navigate to the Subscription page in your account settings.

Click "Cancel Subscription"

The cancellation flow begins. You may be asked to provide a reason for cancellation (optional).

Confirm cancellation

Review the cancellation details — specifically when your access ends — and confirm.

Cancellation is processed

You will receive a confirmation email. Your subscription will not renew on the next billing date.

What Happens After Cancellation

When you cancel, your YouCast subscription is set to expire at the end of your current billing period. This means:

  • You retain full access to all features until the end of the billing period
  • All active streams continue running until the subscription expires
  • On the expiration date, all streams are automatically stopped
  • Your video library data is retained for 30 days after expiration
  • After 30 days, your data (videos, stream configs, channel connections) is permanently deleted

Download your videos before expiration

After your subscription expires, you have a 30-day window to download your videos from the YouCast library. After this grace period, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. We strongly recommend downloading any important files before the expiration date.

Reactivating After Cancellation

You can reactivate your subscription at any time before the expiration date by going to Settings → Subscription and clicking "Resume Subscription". If your subscription has already expired, you can re-subscribe as a new customer. Note that data deleted after the 30-day grace period cannot be recovered.

Refund Policy

YouCast offers a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied with the service within the first 7 days of your initial subscription, contact us at support@youcast.cloud and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.

  • 7-day money-back guarantee on first subscription only
  • No partial refunds for unused time on existing subscriptions beyond the 7-day window
  • Annual plan cancellations after 7 days are not eligible for prorated refunds
  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and appear on your original payment method
