Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods, billing management, and invoice information.
YouCast processes all payments securely through Stripe, one of the world's leading payment processors. Your payment information is never stored on YouCast's servers — all sensitive card data is handled exclusively by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
Accepted Payment Methods
- Visa credit and debit cards
- Mastercard credit and debit cards
- American Express credit cards
- Discover credit cards
- UnionPay (select regions)
- Apple Pay (Safari on macOS and iOS)

We currently do not support PayPal or cryptocurrency payments. We are evaluating additional payment methods and will announce new options in our changelog.
Adding a Payment Method
Go to Settings → Billing
Click your avatar in the top right and select Settings, then navigate to the Billing tab.
Click "Add Payment Method"
The Stripe payment form opens in a secure modal.
Enter your card details
Enter your card number, expiry date, CVV, and billing postal code.
Save the card
Click "Save Card". The card is added to your account and can be set as the default payment method.
Managing Payment Methods
You can have multiple payment methods on file. From Settings → Billing → Payment Methods, you can:
- View all saved cards (last 4 digits, expiry, and card brand shown)
- Set a default card for automatic subscription renewals
- Remove a card you no longer want on file
- Update the billing address associated with a card
Invoices and Billing History
All invoices are available for download from Settings → Billing → Billing History. Each invoice includes:
- Invoice number and date
- Your account name and billing address
- Subscription plan and billing period
- Amount charged and currency
- Payment method used (last 4 digits)
- YouCast's company and VAT details (for EU customers)
Failed Payments
If a payment fails on your renewal date, YouCast will retry the charge automatically over a 7-day grace period. During the grace period, your service continues uninterrupted. If the payment is not resolved within 7 days, your subscription will be paused and all active streams will stop.
Keep your card up to date
If your card expires or is replaced by your bank (common with fraud prevention updates), update your payment method before your next renewal date to avoid a service interruption. You will receive a reminder email 7 days before your renewal.
