In short
Deezer reported in July 2026 that AI tracks passed 50% of new daily uploads but make up only 1 to 3% of listening. The article covers Deezer’s fraud finding, how it treats AI tracks and what this means for music-led 24/7 channels.
What Deezer Reported

- AI-generated tracks passed half of new daily uploads at their June 2026 peak. Deezer receives roughly 90,000 fully AI-generated tracks a day. The figures were published on 21 July 2026.
- Fully AI-generated music accounts for only about 1 to 3% of streams on the platform.
- Deezer says up to 85% of streams on fully AI-generated tracks were fraudulent in 2025, against about 8% across its whole catalog.
- It detected and tagged more than 13.4 million AI-generated tracks in 2025.
How Deezer Treats AI Tracks
- AI tracks are tagged for listeners, and the tag is applied at album level.
- They are excluded from algorithmic recommendations and from editorial playlists.
- Fraudulent streams are removed from the royalty pool. Deezer plans to remove AI tracks used for streaming fraud, and tracks with no streams for six months.
- Deezer says its detection tool is 99.8% accurate. That is the company's own claim.
What It Means for 24/7 Music Channels
Deezer is one service, and YouTube does not publish comparable numbers. The signals still matter for a lofi or ambient channel. In our reading, which is not a Deezer statement, platforms are building detection and labels, and a flood of near-identical AI tracks pushes value toward music with a known source.
- 1Know the source of every track and keep its license.
- 2If tracks are AI-generated, read the platform's disclosure rules before you stream them.
- 3Do not buy views or streams. Fraud is exactly what Deezer filters out.

What It Means for a YouCast Channel
YouCast turns the videos you upload into a 24/7 live stream that runs from the cloud, to YouTube and, with a stream key, to Twitch, Kick and Instagram, so there is no encoder to configure, no computer to keep awake and no home upload line to saturate.
YouCast streams the music inside your videos, so the source and license of every track are yours to check. Keep a note of both before you upload.
You can try one stream on the free trial and add more streams as the channel grows.
